Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Orthopedists or any other professional that try to make people aware of the importance of gentle movements and behaviors for their spinal column need our new Vertebral Simulator.  The new Vertebral Simulator is called the VS2000 and it is a new and improved Lumbar Disc Herniation Model that shows two lumbar vertebrea that demonstrates a lateral intervertebral disc herniation. When the two vertebrae are pressed together, the inner core of the disc will be protruding to the outside, forming a herniation. The protruding disc shows graphically the pressure which affects the spinal nerve. Our new model is double in life size and is easy to handle. Great for demonstrating in workshops, classrooms and one on one patient consultations.

Drunk Busters

Have you ever wondered how you could teach your children or students the effects of alcohol or drug intake before they even think about partaking in these activities? How their senses and reactions perform once behind a wheel of a car or another type of motorized vehicle? The consequences that could arise because of their bad choices? Here at Shop Anatomical.com we do care what happens and are now selling Drunk Buster Goggles that simulate impairment that will help children, teenagers and any adult realize what could and would happen if they choose to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The Drunk Busters Goggles are available in 5 different simulated BAC levels and also offer Drug Impairment Goggles. These goggles have been used all over the world and even have been used in different television shows such as Wipeout, Greek, True TV and Anderson Cooper’s show. Here are some testimonies from some Drunk Buster’s customers who have used the goggles in either a classroom setting, Driver’s Ed or some type of safety workshop.
The Drunk Busters Impairment Goggles are a wonderful hands on activity that helps our students learn some of the possible dangers of drinking and driving without having to take the actual risks.”
The Driving School Association of the Americas,
“We are extremely pleased with the Drunk Busters Impairment Goggles! We have used other brands of goggles that have not simulated impairment well enough to get the teens’ attention. Your goggles not only get the point across to the teens, they also pass the parent test, who attend the class with their teens. Without doubt, the Drunk Busters Impairment Goggles are saving lives.”
Gary Curtis, Driving School Director
BIR Performance Driving School and Street Smarts, Brainerd, Minnesota
“The Drunk Busters Goggles are a very useful tool in my safety courses. It gives kids and adults a better understanding of what it is like being under the influence. Thanks for a great product!”
Butch Guenther, Snowmobile Safety Instructor
Waupun, Wisconsin
“Numerous park rangers use the Drunk Busters Goggles in their water safety programs and are very satisfied with your product.”

This past year Shop Anatomical.com offered grants out to members of  the South Carolina Association of Christian Schools. The schools chose what they wanted and we did our best to fulfill their wish list. Many of them were very grateful and sent wonderful “Thank You” letters and Pictures of our products being used in their classrooms.
Ms. Kelly Marie Dailey from Conway Christian School sent us this lovely letter along with some great pictures.

Dear Shop Anatomical:
I would like to show my gratitude for giving such a wonderful variety of resources to Conway Christian School. The opportunity to utilize the many resources (Acland’s DVD Atlas of Human Anatomy (6 DVD SET))which were provided to us will not only help facilitate the learning process for the high school students that I teach but also for the elementary and middle school students that are on campus as well.
I would like to assure you that I will strive to utilize the resources(Anatomy and Pathology: The World’s Best Anatomical Charts)  ( Biology Anatomy Flash Cards) and equipment (Numbered Budget Bucky Skeleton Model) to the best of my abilities while bringing a strong biblical understanding to the Body that God so greatly created.
Thank you once again for giving me this opportunity.
Sincerely,

“My wife says I didn’t have a backbone… so I bought this one PC-Spine. Now I hear no complaints!” Review from a customer

Hopefully your spouse doesn’t say this to you but if you are in need of a spine for any other reason such as teaching and demonstrating on how the spine moves, the PC-Spine is for you! Highly detailed, life-size model shows all significant features for each vertebra, including vertebral body, spinous and transverse processes, vertebral notch and spinal canal. Features complete pelvis, sacrum, occipital bone, vertebral artery and nerve branches. Herniated disc between the 4th and 5th lumbar vertebrae.

Ideal teaching model for students, for patient education by chiropractors, orthopedic surgeons and other medical professionals, and for company health programs on lifting and bending.  So don’t get caught without having a backbone, order the PC-Spine!!

ShopAnatomical.com Donates Anatomical Charts to a School in Kenya!

We have returned from Kenya. Thank you for the anatomical charts that your company donated to the Anajali School. The anatomical charts were eagerly received by the children. Some class rooms did have anatomical charts but these were hand drawn and colorless. The children were excited to have the colored and more detailed charts.
The Anajali School is at the periphery of the Kibera Slum and the children are all from this slum. The school educates and provides a noon meal for the children provided by the Anajali Mission. The children are polite, lovable and grateful for any little thing.
While I was there I hauled dirt on my back ,as did the other folks in my team, to prepare the ground for a new schoolroom; I carried wood; helped with a deworming program; proctored a classroom during and exam; helped the children write letter to their sponsors;visited some of the homes of the children in the slum and many other things. The real end result was that I left a piece of my heart in Kenya, in the school and with the other members of my team.
If your company ever produces a chart for the life cycle of intestional worms I would love to purchase one for the school. I think it would help the children to understand why we distributed the medication for and why
it is important to take the medication..We distributed the medication to the teachers as well!
Thank you and your company again for your generosity and kindness.

One of our top selling skeleton models is “Stan”. He has been seen in many hospitals, schools, universities and laboratories for over 50 years. He is an adult life size skeleton made from high quality materials and excellent workmanship detail. Some of the many features of “Stan” is that he is easy to assemble, limbs are quick and easy to remove, and comes with a 3-part mounted skull with individually inserted teeth. He also is mounted on a pelvic rolling stand, or if you want, he can come on a hanging stand A dust cover is included to help keep “Stan” in pristine shape. He is a first class natural cast skeleton made from Germany and has a 3 year guarantee. So remember if you want a quality made skeleton “Stan is your Man”!
Listed below are some of “Stan’s” terrific reviews!
“This skeleton was given as a class gift to our college physical therapy department. It was very easy to put together and to transport to the college (the skeleton lies across the backseat with the stand detached). We also screwed in a nameplate to the back of the skull to denote that it was donated by the class of 2010. It was fairly easy to do. Our professors loved the gift and hopefully the future students will be able to learn a great deal from it.”
DPT Graduate, Queens, NY
I bought Stan (skeleton) for my daughter-in-law for Christmas. As soon as she opened the box she screamed with excitement. My son had to assemble Stan and my daughter-in-law started quizzing us. It’s an excellent tool to study and we are very happy with it. Stan (skeleton)is very detailed and very high quality. I would recommend Stan to others.

This was a great gift for our son in his last semester of undergraduate school for his gross anatomy class. He will use it even more when he begins medical school this fall.
